Otto Klammer is an audio engineer, modular synth nerd, and musician originally from New York City. They moved to the Boston area in 2014 to attend Berklee College of Music where they earned a degree in Music Production and Engineering. In addition to holding a B.A they also often hold their 20 pound cat, Betsy, very tightly. You may have heard some of their singing and bass playing in bands such as Dazey and the Scouts and Dump Him.
Otto is a jack of many audio trades, working in live sound, AV, recording studio settings, and post production. They currently work as an AV technician for University settings, out of their own home studio, Bowery Presents venues, as well as New Alliance Audio, a recording studio in Somerville, MA. Variety is the secret to their happiness and sense of achievement, and they love to share and learn from other engineers. Otto is also currently the Secretary of the Boston chapter of the Audio Engineering Society. One of their biggest dreams is to witness and hopefully inspire the closing of gender gaps in the music industry, and to simply assist in the making of art.
